Without cannabis, musician says he would not be living life

Lee Bernstein believes medicinal marijuana saved his life. “I’m not saying I would necessarily be dead, but I would not be living,” he says. He has battled anxiety and depression for all of his adult life, and he sunk so low at one point he underwent electroconvulsive therapy, a controversial treatment he believes caused him more harm than good.

Cannabis provided the gift of sleep

For Avery Jordan, sleeping through the night is a gift. “Since I started using cannabis, my sleep is so much better. It has worked wonders for me,” he says. Avery lives with a birth injury that damaged the nerves from his neck down through his right arm. He lives with pain and has limited motion in his arm.

Cannabis eased Nicole’s cancer pain: “I’m so thankful it’s here for me.”

Nicole Blair’s physician recommended she try medicinal marijuana to provide some relief of the pain associated with her cancer — as well as the complications of chemotherapy and radiation. She initially said no.
