Jill M. Giordano Farmer

Jill M. Giordano Farmer, D.O., MPH, is director of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Program at Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI) and Assistant Professor at Drexel University School of Medicine. She is board certified in neurology. Dr. Farmer has developed comprehensive movement disorder programs to address medical management, surgical management and rehabilitation programs for Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders. She has developed clinics, including botulinum toxin clinics for dystonia and spasticity and deep brain stimulation management of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia. She also developed and now coordinates the Delaware Valley Regional Movement Disorder Meeting, a quarterly educational meeting that brings together academic and community movement disorder specialists, functional neurosurgeons and allied team members. Dr. Farmer was elected president of the Philadelphia Neurological Society in 2019.
